Ms Jocelyn realized her calling for teaching preschool when her oldest son attended The Learning Tree. Ms Jocelyn brings her experience as a mother of three. She has a BSc in Psychology from the University of Calgary. She is continuing her studies in Early Childhood Education through Lethbridge College in order to achieve a higher level of certification. Ms Jocelyn teaches preschool, quite simply, because she loves children. She admires the enthusiasm children bring to everything they do. She finds it inspiring to watch learning unfold; the curiosity of preschoolers is unmatched. Ms Jocelyn strives to provide an environment rich in learning opportunities. She recognizes that for some children preschool may be their first experience in an environment away from their caregiver, and wants each child to feel safe, comfortable and part of a community at preschool. Ms Jocelyn believes that bonds are important between student and teacher, as well as teacher and parent. She wants each child’s preschool experience to be one they look back on fondly.
